Re-set The Chiller

Although the MRI is chirping sometimes there may be a requirement to reset the chiller when it changes between the transport and main chiller. Once the mains power is reinstated at the new site then the driver needs to check digital readout on the front of the chiller box in the tech room and this provided the water temperature. This should be around 10-15 degrees, if it does not show a numerical number it will be probably be showing one of the fault codes and the temperature may start to rise. The driver can reset this simply by pressing the menu which will bring up any alarms then press ‘set’ which will bring up a small icon saying reset alarm you press ‘set’ again and this will reset the chiller. You then press ‘menu’ and it takes you back to the digital readout and then wait for a few minutes and they should see the temp coming down.

Smit MRI Rear Barrier

Some of the newer Smit MRI’s now have a rear barrier that MUST be raised as part of the setup and lowered for transport.
Any problems must be reported to transport before leaving site
