• Sharps bin closed and sealed – OK to move.
• Sharps bin open but not overspilling the container – OK to close lid, OK to move.
• Sharps bin open and overspilling the container – Not ok to move.
• Sharps loose on worktops not contained within a sharps container – Not OK to move.

Bagged:

• Clinical wasted contained in sealed bags – OK to move.
• Clinical waste contained in unsealed bags – not OK to move.

• Clinical waste found loose on worktops – not OK to move.
